Amazon Business has been named as the ‘official event partner’ for Hotelympia, reinforcing the web giant’s ambitions to drive deeper into the hospitality sector.
Based on Stand 2110, part of the newly established Interiors & Tableware Show, the Amazon Business team will be on hand throughout the four-day show to demonstrate to visitors the benefits of becoming a certified business seller.
This includes business-specific pricing, automated free invoicing, European logistics capabilities and a host of marketing solutions.
The tie-up comes just a few months after Amazon Business signed its first major UK catering equipment deal with Blanco Professional and said it was confident it could replicate the success its counterparts have had with foodservice in the US.
Hotelympia Portfolio Director, Ross Carter, said that Amazon’s online business model is an ideal fit for a hospitality industry that is currently looking hard at costs.
