A collection of the UK’s biggest food-to-go specialists are among those set to visit London’s Lunch! show later this month.
Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S Food, Pret A Manger, Greggs, Costa Coffee, Caffe Nero, Co-op, WH Smith, Waitrose, Starbucks, EAT., LEON, McDonald’s, and Compass Group will all be sending representatives as the show celebrates its tenth anniversary.
Lunch!, which annually attracts over 6,000 attendees, will open its doors in just over two weeks at the show’s new home of London ExCeL.
Confirmed speakers, many of whom won’t be appearing at any other UK show this year, include Roger Whiteside, CEO of Greggs; Andrew Walker, chief executive of EAT; Caffè Nero’s Paul Ettinger; Starbucks’ Rachel Chatterton; Josh Brown from Harris + Hoole; Will Cole, head of UK marketing at Pret A Manger; and Kirsty Saddler, brand and marketing director at LEON.
Guy Meakin, head of buying at Pret A Manger, who has more than 15 years of buying experience, including senior roles with Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer and now Pret, will appearing in a dedicated ‘buyers masterclass’.
‘Increasing profits in food-to-go’, meanwhile, will be the focus for Benugo’s head of marketing Rory McEntee, Trade’s director Alex Stone, chef Jay Morjaria, and marketing specialist and founder of We Are Spectacular Mark McCulloch.
The event takes place on 21-22 September.
