Compass Group UK & Ireland has secured a new 10-year contract to deliver retail, food and beverage offers at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The deal is worth an estimated £1.3 million a year in revenues, the company said, equating to a total of £13m for the duration of the contract.
As part of the new contract, improvements have been made to the current retail outlets by updating offers with a Costa, while also managing and updating existing NHS and WRVS facilities including the Amigo shop and a Deli Marché.
Such developments will improve the patient, visitor and staff experience, offering a greater choice of food and drink options, which will be delivered by 30 Compass Group staff.

Kettering General Hospital said that Compass secured the contract through proposing “exciting” developments such as introducing the Costa brand.
The success of Compass’ partnership with Costa was demonstrated at the recent 2015 Costa Conference, whereby the business was recognised with three awards. The accolades included the Store Team of the Year Award, Customer Heartbeat Award and Assistant Manager of the Year with a further shortlist for Store Manager of the Year.
