Compass Group UK & Ireland has signed a five-year partnership to continue working with renowned chef, Jason Atherton.
The extended partnership will see him working more with the wider Compass business and Levy Restaurants UK, in addition to Restaurant Associates, where he has been Consultant Chef since 2010.
Atherton initially joined Restaurant Associates to help enhance the organisation’s corporate and fine dining offer and in the five years they have been working together he has taken part in guest appearances, VIP client dinners, charity events, demonstrations, talks and presentations to the team of chefs.
Last year, Atherton and Restaurant Associates opened City Social, the art deco style restaurant based on the 24th floor of Tower 42, which received a Michelin star within six months of opening.
The renewed partnership will also see Atherton becoming more involved in supporting Keith Prowse, which is part of Levy Restaurants UK, the sports, leisure and hospitality business of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
Since 2012, he has designed exclusive menus for the St George’s Suite at Twickenham Stadium and often oversees a dedicated team of chefs on match day, to help deliver innovative food and quality service.
The partnership will see Atherton heavily involved in the catering within the St George’s Suite at the RBS 6 Nations Championship when matches are played at Twickenham Stadium, as well as supporting Levy Restaurant UK projects more generally.
