Two Michelin star Hong Kong restaurant, Duddell’s, is set to make its UK debut at St Thomas’ Church, London Bridge.

The kitchen will be headed up by Daren Liew, former executive sous chef at the Hakkasan Group, bringing with him decades of experience in Cantonese cuisine.

The 300-year-old church is located close to London Bridge, Borough Market and The Shard.  Covering 5,800 square feet, the new restaurant will be split across basement, ground floor and mezzanine levels.

The two Michelin star menu will offer high-end, authentic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum in a contemporary style.  Founded by Alan Lo, Paulo Pong and Yenn Wong, the new concept restaurant set to open this autumn will be the brand’s first site outside of Hong Kong.

Leo Feldman, partner at Shelley Sandzer, which brokered the deal, said: “This unique building will make one of the most spectacular dining destinations in the capital. With its rich heritage, this building has bags of character and we have no doubt that Duddell’s will create the same buzz as they have in Hong Kong.”
