First Coffee Embassy in London opens for business

Kimbo is aiming to fly the flag for premium coffee with the opening of its first ‘Coffee Embassy’ outside of Italy.

The company has set up shop at the renowned Caffé Caldesi Italian restaurant in Marylebone, where it says the ritual of coffee making will be celebrated in all its charm and poetry.

Coffee Embassy will seek to promote the etiquette of coffee in London, with a particular focus on the art and science of preparing and serving an outstanding quality coffee.

Customers of Caffé Caldesi will be able to enjoy the top blends, obtained from selected origin coffee, subject to strict quality controls and brewed according to Neapolitan tradition.

The Embassy offers a wide selection of coffees, including the unique Kimbo Cuccuma coffee, which is prepared with the traditional Neapolitan flip coffee pot through the long and theatrical ritual of coffee percolation.

The premises of Caffé Caldesi will also host both free and paid tasting courses for professional and amateur baristas.
