Food chiefs from Caffe Nero, Greggs and KFC sign up to debate market landscape

A raft of top-level food and beverage execs from the industry’s most high-profile high street chains are set to appear at the 2018 edition of Lunch!, which kicks off at London ExCeL in September.

Latest additions to the star-studded line-up of keynote speakers include Caffè Nero’s head of food & beverage Hannah McKay, Greggs’ head of category David Ross, KFC’s innovation director for the UK and Ireland Jack Hinchcliffe, GAIL’s Bakery’s marketing director Romy Miller, Tortilla’s head of food Martyn Clover, and Pod’s head of food Aggie Morrell.

The show, which takes place on 20-21 September, offers a rare opportunity to hear from some of the UK’s most inspirational and influential food-to-go professionals about the opportunities, challenges and trends they see in the market.

Speaker highlights also include an exclusive keynote by John Upton, chairman of healthy restaurant chain The Naked Deli and street food brand Mother Clucker. Up until recently Mr Upton was the managing director of Leon and, prior to that, a senior director at McDonald’s UK.

Julian Metcalfe OBE, founder of itsu and co-founder of Pret A Manger, will talk about his incredible career and his passion for fast, fresh food on the move, while Clare Clough, food & coffee director at Pret A Manger is lined up to reveal what’s next for the established high street brand.

Meanwhile, Arnaud Kaziewicz, head of food at EAT, will explain why ‘attention to detail’ is such a key ingredient to success in the food-to-go market and participate in the show’s first ever ‘Head of Food panel’, with Tortilla’s Martyn Clover and Pod’s Aggie Morrell.
