Two former employees of Revolution Bars Group are launching their first restaurant and hope it will become the next big chicken chain in the UK.
Carl Morris and Laura Morris are set to open their first ‘Yard and Coop’ restaurant in Manchester’s Northern Quarter later this month.
The restaurant will specialise in buttermilk fried chicken, available with a range of sauces, sides and sharing plates.
Morris believes there is space in the market for a chicken-only menu and told the Manchester press that their inspiration for the concept has been taken from the global market place.
“Following more than 30 years combined experience in the hospitality industry, we knew that we wanted to create a unique menu that will not only excite the Manchester diner, but allow us to pull together the best elements of casual dining concepts we have experienced around the world.”
