Frima has appointed a regional sales manager for the north of England as part of an expansion plan that will see the company hire more equipment specialists.
Richard Clark, a highly experienced chef who switched to sales and marketing within the last 18 months, will cover the central, north and northwest areas of England as part of his role.
Frima says it is the first of a series of regional appointments as it looks to realise its potential across the UK.
Clark worked for Continental Chef Supplies as a business development manager prior to joining Frima.
Before that he had been executive head chef in several hotels and restaurants, most recently at the De Vere Mottram Hall Hotel. He also ran his own catering events business.
Clark will also be tasked with developing new Frima Cook Live demonstration sites in the north and northwest, so that potential customers will be able to get hands-on experience of the company’s VarioCooking Center Multificiency.
“At a time when there is increased pressure on space and focus on energy efficiency, multifunctional appliances, like the VarioCooking Center, deliver a solution for modern kitchen designs,” says Graham Kille, managing director of Frima.
“A lot of current sales are in the south — Richard’s is the first of a series of appointments to help us realise our potential across the whole of the UK.”
