Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances, manufacturers of the Burco and Lec commercial brands, has announced a significant extension to its Fixd service, bringing greater geographical coverage for foodservice customers across the country.
Fixd is a dedicated commercial aftersales maintenance and repair service that GDPA originally launched two years ago. By increasing the existing team of dedicated engineers from eight to eleven individuals, the expansion of the service will allow Fixd to provide an even greater coverage in areas such as Scotland and the North of England.
It says customers can expect a faster, more efficient service and greater peace of mind with minimal downtime should any issues occur with their equipment. The van fleet will be specifically stocked with the most used spare parts, and each engineer will have undertaken detailed training on the service and repair of all Burco and Lec Commercial appliances in order to maximise first-time fixes.

In addition to pre-planned in-warranty visits and repairs, Fixd facilitates the opportunity for Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances to undertake a full range of chargeable out-of-warranty work as well as undertaking a programme of servicing and maintenance contracts for third party manufacturers.
