Organisers of next month’s Great Hospitality Show insist operators will get an “enticing first-look” at the catering equipment innovations which will be on offer to the market in 2017.
Fresh Montgomery, which puts on the three-day show from January 23-25, says a raft of catering equipment suppliers have booked stands for the event and will be unveiling products for the first time.
The show will also see the return of the CESA Innovation Zone, a dedicated platform for the most unique innovative light and heavy equipment products and services from manufacturers. Exhibitors confirmed so far include Blue Seal, Adande, European Watercare, Catering Equipment Ltd, Metcalfe Catering Equipment, CCS, Victor Manufacturing, BGL Rieber, Manitowoc and Signature FSE.
The show is also set to welcome its first-ever catering equipment ambassador, Mike Coldicott, managing director of kitchen design pioneers, Tricon. Having overseen some of the UK’s leading projects during his 30 years in the business, Coldicott will host a panel discussion around smarter kitchen design on Tuesday 24 January at 1pm on The Business Briefing Stage.
Toby Wand, managing director of the Great Hospitality Show, said: “Yet again, catering equipment is set to play a pivotal role in the show, as we shine a spotlight on some of the globe’s biggest names and partner with CESA to showcase ground-breaking innovations from some well-known manufacturers. We’re proud to state that in 2017 no other show can boast such an array of suppliers and influencers under the same roof – I urge visitors looking to refresh or overhaul their kitchens to look no further, if it’s not on our show floor, it’s simply not worth having.”
Cedabond, the UK purchasing consortium for commercial catering equipment, will be hosting a VIP members’ lounge at the Great Hospitality Show.
The lounge, which will be accessible by invitation only, will offer a relaxed, private environment away from the main hustle and bustle of the show and be situated on stand 632 in the very centre of the exhibition, close to several Cedabond suppliers.
Cedabond chairman and executive director, Phil Martin said: “We know that a lot of Cedabond members and suppliers visit the show not just to see the latest in equipment technology but also to network with customers, colleagues and business associates. The aim of the Cedabond members’ lounge is to give them the opportunity to do this in a relaxed setting.”
The Great Hospitality Show takes place at the Birmingham NEC.
