Bunga Bunga has appointed a new head of operations for BungaTIN and its site in Covent Garden.
Noel Goddard will be responsible for the overall running, system integration and financial operations of the venues and was previously director of operations at Dirty Bones.
Goddard formerly oversaw the running of Christopher’s Restaurant and Chinawhite. He was also director of food & beverage at The Grove Hotel. Prior to his role at Dirty Bones, Goddard held the position of director of operations at Bounce, in which he delivered 30% growth year on year and managed the launch of the second venue, Bounce Shoreditch.
Having begun his career in 1989 as a waiter for 90-seater Joe Allen Restaurant, a brasserie in Covent Garden, Goddard was soon recognised for his professionalism and acute attention to detail, and quickly progressed to Maitre D’. It was then that he discovered his talent and passion for the industry, and made the decision to embark on a career in hospitality.
Outside of work, Goddard expresses particular interest for gardening, charity work and has a passion for cooking. He also enjoys travelling, having taken up business consultant and management roles in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2004 until 2006.
