Today’s Great Hospitality Show marks Gram and Hoshizaki’s first public showing as a unified company.
Since January 1 the combined businesses have been operating as ‘Hoshizaki UK’.
Not only is the new arrangement designed to “synergise” the brands, but management hope it will boost the chances of the combined business achieveing even stronger growth in the UK hospitality market.
Hoshizaki UK is using this week’s event as a platform to offer a sneak preview of a brand new “game-changing” product in advance of its true launch date later in 2017. The product in question is a second generation range of its popular Gram Snowflake line, with the equipment set to be available to the market from May.
Last month Hoshizaki brought in industry veteran Steve Loughton to lead the business. Gram’s commercial director, Paul Anderson, meanwhile, has taken up the new post of Hoshizaki UK’s director of sales.
