Earlier in the summer the industry saw the launch of the brand new Claire Clark Academy, a state-of-the-art pastry kitchen at Milton Keynes College, complete with a range of Gram equipment to help train the next generation of patisserie chefs.
The kitchen has been beautifully designed to accommodate for a range of new courses, including a Level 2 Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie as well as part-time courses that cover Afternoon Tea, French Patisserie and Indulgent Desserts
Students will use the brand-new pastry kitchen as their home for learning, receiving expert tuition from lecturers and industry pasty chefs. Gram’s KPS42 SH Blast Chiller, F72 RAG Superior Freezer, K1407 refrigerated counter and Baker GA 950 freezer/prover have all been installed ready for the new students to use when the September term begins.
Hoshizaki UK is proud to be a part of equipping the next generation of young cooks and chefs, and is looking forward to see some of the creations that come out of the new kitchen in the coming months.
Claire Clark’s career has spanned many years and she is famed for her incredible Pastry work at some of the most prestigious locations in England. She has won many accolades for her work and has worked hard to give the industry the recognition it deserves, most recently judging BBC’s Crème de la Crème.
