InterContinental brings celebrated chef to UK for new Park Lane restaurant project

Internationally-acclaimed chef Martha Ortiz is set to bring her celebrated Mexican gastronomy to London in a new restaurant located at InterContinental London Park Lane.

Ortiz, chef patron of Mexico City’s award-winning Dulce Patria, heralded as one of Latin America’s most exciting restaurants, is promising to deliver the “beauty, vibrancy, and spirit of Mexico to London in a total experience of the senses”.

Her philosophy will be brought to life by David Collins Studio, the global interior architecture practice led by Creative Director Simon Rawlings. The restaurant will feature references to Mexican design and culture.

Located at No. 1 Park Lane, the restaurant will have one of London’s most prestigious addresses. Its exclusive entrance will be positioned where Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, and Piccadilly all converge.

Ortiz’s new restaurant will join Theo Randall at the InterContinental, bringing two renowned Chefs under one roof and creating one of London’s most sought-after culinary destinations.

The restaurant is scheduled to open in early 2017.
