Jestic gains a new slice of business with Alpha Pro pizza ovens

The Hotelympia crowds have been flocking to Jestic’s stand this week and many will have noticed a shiny new addition to the portfolio in the shape of the Alfa Pro oven.

Jestic has been awarded the exclusive UK distribution contract for the Italian-made wood and gas range, which combines strong stainless steel with tough refractory tiles to achieve a lightweight yet highly durable commercial oven.

Alfa Pro ovens are available in a wide range of sizes and styles, each offering a compact design to maximise space in a busy kitchen. This includes smaller, countertop ovens such as the Qubo, capable of cooking up to 80 pizzas per hour, to the larger, freestanding models such as the Opera, with a capacity of up to 150 pizzas per hour.

Simplicity is a key feature of the Alfa Pro collection as pre-assembly means that the oven installation is completed in just a few quick steps. The ovens are able to reach the optimum working temperature in as little as 15 minutes, and are designed with the latest thermal insulation to achieve a better heat retention.

Jestic is well-known for supplying premium Wood Stone ovens to the market but sales director Steve Morris said that far from creating an overlap, the Alpha Pro range complements its existing offering.

“We believe the inclusion of the Alfa Pro range will give our customers the ultimate choice when it comes to finding the best solution for their business,” he said. “Combined with our Jestic Aftercare offering, including maintenance contracts and a dedicated and highly experienced culinary development team, the new distribution agreement with Alfa Pro will ensure that we offer one of the most comprehensive, dedicated pizza oven portfolios on the market.”

With gas- fired ovens the choice for many kitchens in the UK, Alfa Pro has pioneered the ‘CompactFlame’ technology for its pizza ovens.

A powerful gas burner combines with the unique design of the highly insulated, domed chamber to achieve temperatures of up to 450°c, while the durable base, built from two types of brick, retains heat, even during a busy service.
