Foodservice equipment company, Jestic, has expanded its product offering with the introduction of a bread and dough countertop unit.
The compact, countertop rounder and moulder, the Somerset SDR-400 Dough Rounder, has been designed to deliver consistency and achieve measureable cost and labour savings.
The Somerset SDR-400 Dough Rounder produces uniform dough balls, pizza bases, identical bread rolls, including tortillas, roti, pita bread or chipote.
The unit offers a production capacity of up to 7,200 pieces per hour and the ability to round dough from 50g to 1kg in a continuous, one person operated flow.
The dough is placed on a patented stick-resistant intake before the machine adjusts to the correct size to produce the identical, airtight dough balls of matching size and shape.
The Somerset CDR-170 unit offers an interchangeable six to 15 inch pressure plate, with a moulder capable of producing perfectly uniform dough for speciality breads, hot dog buns, sub rolls, breadsticks, pretzels and baguettes. This setting is able to make up to 1,800 pieces per hour.
