Kitchen hire giant refreshes corporate branding

PKL Group has unveiled new corporate branding and an updated website designed to position the company as a total kitchen infrastructure solutions provider with a range of options for all types of situations.

The move is designed to help demonstrate its full offering, which ranges from catering equipment and temporary kitchens for hire through to bespoke permanent modular kitchens, and even finance options to procure a new commercial kitchen.

On its new-look website, PKL has grouped the solutions it offers to various end-users under ‘Temporary Solutions’, ‘Event Solutions’, ‘Permanent Solutions’, ‘Transworld Solutions’ and ‘U-Select’ to clearly show the scope of options the company can offer.

PKL was established in 1988 to meet a gap in the market for rented heavy duty catering equipment within a freestanding standardised portable unit and is now one of the UK’s leading providers of outsourced catering infrastructure solutions.

It claims to have an unrivalled level of products and service within the industry including 900 purpose-built portable kitchen units and over 9,000 items of catering equipment available to hire.

In addition to temporary kitchen solutions, PKL is increasingly supplying bespoke permanent modular kitchen buildings, which are designed and constructed off site and delivered as a complete solution to the end-user. It supplies solutions into sectors such as hotels, pubs, hospitals, schools and universities, as well as major sporting events, including the Commonwealth and Olympic Games and festivals such as Glastonbury and Wilderness.

In a new departure for the company and using its many years’ experience and financial stability, PKL also launched U-Select last year, a totally new way for catering businesses to acquire catering equipment under various finance options.

With the increase in food-to-go outlets and the continued boom in coffee culture, PKL identified a gap in the market to not only supply catering equipment but to offer the flexible finance options to enable businesses to procure the kitchen they require.
