Kitchen repair and maintenance specialist McFarlane Telfer (McFT) has appointed an account manager to specifically oversee manufacturer relations.
The company has recently been selected as the warranty partner for Counterline, the Liverpool-based high-end servery counter specialists.
This extends close relationships with a number of manufacturers, both in the UK and the Gulf, where McFT now has offices, on installation, commissioning, warranty and post-warranty support.
McFT says that OEMs regard brand protection as a “foremost requirement” and when something goes wrong, getting the operation back up and running with minimum disruption and being kept in the loop is critical.
Links with manufacturers were re-affirmed recently at HOST, the major hospitality equipment exhibition in Milan, while the company has long-term relationships with brands such as Ambach, which it has worked with in the UK for six years.
