Lincat has secured the services of catering equipment veteran, Paul Godfrey, to lead its export sales function as export manager.
Godfrey joins Lincat with over 21 years’ experience in the catering equipment industry, 18 of which were at Hobart Cooking Solutions, first as development chef before moving into a range of sales, national accounts and product management roles.
Prior to that, Godfrey was classically trained as a chef, and worked his way through the ranks to become the head chef at a variety of independent outlets.
Lincat equipment is currently sold in over 70 countries worldwide and export sales account for almost 13% of turnover.
Chris Jones, managing director of Lincat, said: “Paul brings a unique and extensive combination of product knowledge, sales experience and customer understanding to the role of export manager. I am confident that he will bring all of these to bear on the challenge we have set him, which is to replicate the strong growth we have achieved here in the UK, overseas.”
Based in Lincoln in the UK, Lincat manufactures products for cooking, holding and food display, which are supplied to commercial kitchens across the globe.
