Lincat plans new-look Opus 800 and water boiler ranges

Lincat has revealed that it will roll out a new range of water boilers and Opus cooking equipment in 2016.

The company confirmed today that select items of equipment from its FilterFlow water boilers line and Opus 800 cooking suite range will be released as part of its product development plans next year.

Operators will be able to get their first glimpse of the new kit at the forthcoming HOST exhibition, which runs from October 23-27 in Milan. Lincat will be exhibiting on parent company Middleby’s stand at the show.

Lincat said the new 80-strong Opus line will be “larger, heavier and more durable” than its predecessors. Opus 800 has been incredibly successful for the company. It builds on the 700 range, of which 35,000 items have been sold to date, generating £45m of revenue.

Vision 422 and Profi+ 10Products will be more powerful, too, with the ability to be configured in a greater number of ways, to meet the needs of the busiest commercial kitchens, the firm said.

The next generation of FilterFlow models, meanwhile, will be easier and quicker to use, cheaper to run, and with a smaller footprint, the company promised.

Lincat’s marketing manager, Helen Applewhite, said the company is looking forward to gauging opinion on the range from visitors to HOST. “We have had great feedback from those we have shared our plans with so far, and it will be great to hear what a wider range of people have to say.”
