Restaurateur Des McDonald has announced his latest pop-up project on the Roof at Selfridges, in London’s Oxford Street.
The Forest Restaurant and & Cabin Bar will be third such project at Selfridges. Q Grill popped up there followed by an outlet of McDonald’s chippy chain, Vintage Salt.
The pop up themed around Autumn woodland will open from 21 October, serving comfort food and seasonal cocktails throughout the cooler months and with an eye especially towards Christmas shoppers.

Chris Dargavel, previously the head chef at On the Roof with Vintage Salt, will be in charge of the kitchen overseen by Lee Bull, chef director of the Des McDonald group.
