Warewashing manufacturer Meiko is to launch a new ‘UPster’ range of commercial warewashing equipment in the coming weeks.
Of particular significance is the increased machine entry height of 508mm and the integral heat recovery unit that comes as standard on all models meaning that direct ducting is not required, only general room ventilation, providing that suitable air changes are available within the wash-up area.
Meanwhile, Meiko has traditionally offered a solid middle-of-the-road entry level glass and dishwashing portfolio and the upgraded ECO to UPster range continues that trend by combining its technology with reliable build-quality and a sleek new black control panel.
Designed to be user-friendly, the UPster range has standard features including a crystal-clear display panel, simple one-click buttons, and a digital read-out of the wash and rinse water temperatures. Double-walled thermal insulation on all models keeps the heat in and minimises energy consumption.
Operators will be able to get their first look at the range at next month’s Hotelympia show, where the company will have the K-M520 model on its stand.
