The new UK agent for Mibrasa charcoal ovens insists business is going well in the UK, with the brand’s flagship equipment helping to fill a gap in a rapidly-growing part of the prime cooking market.
Ascentia FSE, which was appointed as the sole UK partner for Mibrasa in 2015, says it has made “great strides” over the past year by getting the kit specified with numerous customers that have embraced solid fuel cooking.
“The success achieved with the Mibrasa over the past year has been as a result of the excellent build quality and competitive price point filling a gap in a market place with previously two extremes,” said Ascentia’s Neil Mantle.
“These truly heavy duty ovens have an unparalleled ability to retain the heat inside the oven chamber maintaining optimum cooking temperatures throughout a busy service. The range is broad and has an application for any catering establishment wanting to add the wonderful flavours created when cooking over charcoal.”
Mantle added that operators considering the merits of charcoal oven cooking could test-run the equipment at its facilities. “Ascentia has a test and development kitchen, which is available for live demonstrations to view the wide-ranging capabilities of these ovens,” he said.
As well as being the sole UK agent for Mibrasa, Ascentia also supplies catering equipment from Berto’s, Piron , Moretti, Pavesi and Dalmec.
