Mitchells & Butlers brand pulls into Birmingham’s New Street

Mitchells & Butlers has strengthened its portfolio with the launch of a new All Bar One at New Street Station.

The new site represents a significant investment for the brands’ growing portfolio, as it is the company’s first station location outside of London and brings the total number of Birmingham sites it owns to five, with 49 nationwide.

The large 428 square metre, 234-cover bar is open all day from 6am – 11pm (9am – 11pm on weekends) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as its signature global tapas small plates.

Susan Chappell, operations director at All Bar One, said: “We are delighted to have launched All Bar One within one of the busiest transport hubs. With the multi-million pound Grand Central Shopping Centre alongside the new station, and thousands of passengers passing through each week, we are confident it will be a hugely successful location for us.”

Design features synonymous with All Bar One’s newest remodelled sites include exposed brick walls, natural wood, low-hanging lights and a combination of luxurious leather banquettes, high stools and chairs.

“Birmingham has become a real focus for the brand and we are proud to be in this landmark development, employing another 50 people from the local area,” added Chappell.
