Mitchells & Butlers gives seal of approval to Foster’s refrigeration adaptations

Pub and restaurant group Mitchells & Butlers has endorsed Foster Refrigerator for the bespoke refrigeration work it has carried out across its estate by crowning it one of its top kitchen ‘collaborators’ of the year.

The refrigeration firm, which manufactures equipment from its base in King’s Lynn, was awarded the ‘Cloud 9 Collaborator’ accolade during M&B’s recent Kitchen Contractors Forum in Birmingham.

Foster’s commercial business manager Scott Dackombe and national account manager Dan Pratt attended the event, where M&B set out its strategy for the next financial year.

Mr Pratt said: “At Foster, we are committed to working closely with our customers to find the right solution for them. M&B recognised this and we are proud to receive this award. Over the last 18 months, we have worked with M&B to design specific refrigerated storage products and tailor our existing products to meet their requirements. It’s so important to listen to what the customer wants and adapt to suit it.”

Three Foster employees were also recognised as ‘Behind the Scenes Wonders’ at the forum: key account coordinator Sarah Crawford; market and development director Chris Playford; and senior design engineer Andrew Hodges.

M&B is one of the largest operators of restaurants, pubs and bars in the UK, with around 1,700 establishments all over the country.
