Moffat shuffles the pack to breathe new life into product development strategy

E & R Moffat has made a series of changes to its management structure that is designed to drive the company forward.

Liam Barr has been promoted to engineering manager, replacing David Hair, who takes up the position of works manager.

Sinclair Campbell, meanwhile, moves into the role of general manager, and David McPherson takes up the new position of national sales manager.

John Wannan has moved from sales and marketing to new product development manager, and  Donald Reid moves from operations to become sales manager.

Managing director William Moffat said the reshuffle would aid Moffat’s product development plans, which includes strengthening in areas such as foodservice counters and grab and go merchandisers.

“New product development is at the heart of our growth strategy,” he said. “We’ve always had close relationships with our customers, both dealers and end-users, and we’ve worked with them to develop our NPD strategy – in some cases that means improvements to established lines, in others it’s about evolving new ideas and concepts. The new structure is designed to ensure our NPD continues to evolve to meet our customers’ changing needs.”

E & R Moffat is based in Bonnybridge, Scotland, and manufactures standard and bespoke servery, regeneration and storage equipment.
