Nespresso adds high volume professional barista machine

Nespresso’s latest addition to its range, the Aquila 220, will enable large establishments to enhance their offering and further drive their coffee business, said the company.

With a smaller footprint and featuring the same technology as the Nespresso Aguila 420, the Aguila 220 is designed to meet the needs of all premium large hotels, restaurants and cafés.

The launch of the Aguila 220 further strengthens Nespresso’s professional offering which includes a comprehensive machine portfolio and a choice of 11 Grand Cru coffees.

The good looking Aguila 220 has a robust brewing unit that enables high volumes of coffee to be served on a daily basis, thereby satisfying the market need for different serving capacities and efficient use of space.

Two extraction heads allow simultaneous and fast beverage preparation during peak hours.

The newcomer offers milk foam, milk temperature regulation, three programmable cup sizes (Ristretto, Espresso and Lungo), four one-touch recipes and 12 pre-programmed hot milk-based coffee recipes.

Nespresso claims the button operated Aguila 220 delivers added value from both a service and operational perspective, adding that further convenience is ensured through a link to the cash register which helps cater to even the most high-pressure service and operational requirements.
