Premium pub and hotel company Young’s has launched what it hopes will be a revolutionary new mobile app, ‘Young’s On Tap’, which aims to transform the pub experience for all its customers.
Customers will now be able to find and book more than 170 Young’s and Geronimo pubs as well as pay their bill – and split it between friends – all from their mobile, using an integrated payment system on the Young’s app via QKR! with Masterpass.
Further features include the ability to act as DJ and change the tune in pub, favourite ‘local’ pubs as well as receiving surprise ‘treats‘ for their loyalty. Customers will be able to engage with their local pub communities through the Community Noticeboard, What’s On and Local Chat features.
The group claims that no other app in the hospitality space has delivered this level of customer engagement beyond the traditional mobile payment facilities. Young’s has plans to evolve Young’s On Tap to enrich its approach to customer service.
