Nisbets confirmed today that it is extending its cut-off time for Monday deliveries to 3pm on Sunday.

The move means that catering equipment buyers can still place orders even after the Sunday lunchtime rush, according to the Bristol-based supplier.

Previously customers ordering after 5pm on Friday didn’t take delivery of their goods until Tuesday, but the extended cut-off now means those in need of new or replacement equipment after weekend service will receive their orders faster.

Nisbets’ cut-off time for next day deliveries during the week has also been extended from 5pm to 6pm, giving purchasers greater flexibility over when to place their orders.

“Our next working day delivery promise has always been at the heart of our business’’ said Simon O’Mahony, marketing director at Nisbets.

“We recognise that the hospitality industry never sleeps, and that for many catering professionals the weekend is their busiest time — so we’re delighted to be able to offer Monday delivery to those ordering right up until 3pm on Sunday.’’

Nisbets said the service was free to “most of the UK” on orders over £50, excluding VAT.
