French artisan bakery and café chain PAUL has completed the opening of its second site outside of London as it pursues a plan to regionally expand the business.
The latest café in Newbury’s Parkway Shopping Centre marks a diversification from the capital, where it has concentrated its focus up until now.
PAUL offers a traditional yet varied café menu of daily specials, sharing platters, seasonal salads, soups and typically French savoury snacks.
Its products are all baked on site daily and served in its café-style dining area, which includes an open plan kitchen.
The Newbury site is the 32nd that PAUL operates in the UK. It is planning a further five openings in 2015.
“This is a very exciting time for PAUL and we hope that our arrival in Newbury will be a great addition to the busy shopping centre which welcomes thousands of visitors each year,” said Jean-Michel Orieux, chief executive of PAUL UK.
