Grab-and-go specialist Pod will open the doors of its first new shop in almost five years next week.
The chain, which has undergone a leadership change in the past year and hired a food director to oversee the development of its kitchens, will open new premises at Kingsway, London on 22 July.
Incorporating a vibrant new design, the revised branded store has been created with a Metropolitan yet natural feel to it as it gears up to serve fresh, healthy and tasty food to people working nearby or frequently passing through.
The site will feature digital menu screens in-store to keep customers informed and entertained while they wait or eat, which is a new part of the Pod experience.
The store spans 1,582 square feet and Pod plans to give away 400 lunches for free on launch day to mark the opening.
The chain operates more than 20 stores in the capital.
