‘Pot Boy’ makes light work of dirty kitchen equipment

IMC has released its ‘Pot Boy’ cookware scrubber, which is designed to make light work of encrusted or burnt-on deposits on pans, cookware and ovens.

The UK manufacturer says the device, which is mounted on a wall plate over a sink unit, is quick and easy to use.  Features include a generous 1.5m hose, a foot-operated pneumatic switch, a long lasting nylon brush head and a Magikut exterior scrubber.

Alternatively, the Pot Boy can be mounted on an optional trolley with a 500mm x 500mm dishwasher tray to create a mobile cleaning unit for tackling fixed catering equipment, such as griddles, bratt pans and ranges.

Whichever method is used, safety is assured through a unique hydraulic system where the brush is driven by a fluid circuit, providing both electrical isolation and overload protection.

The Pot Boy cookware scrubber is part of a wide range of cleaning, rinsing and polishing products from IMC that enables kitchen staff to work quickly and productively, while improving hygiene standards.
