Adande is mounting a recruitment charge as it looks to maintain the lofty growth that has catapulted the company to the forefront of the commercial refrigeration sector over the past decade.
The firm claims its business has grown almost 15-fold since 2008, as its flagship refrigerated drawers have been embraced by foodservice chains in the UK, as well as being sold abroad.
Adande recently bolstered the ranks by promoting Ben Aird from regional sales manager to national account manager and bringing in James Kershaw in a national account role. Kershaw boasts more than 20 years’ experience of the catering equipment sector following spells with TrakHUPFER, CDS Wilman and Counterline.
UK sales director, Karl Hodgson, insists the company’s recruitment drive will not stop there. “We are actively seeking to appoint new personnel in account management and regional sales,” he explained. “We have nationwide opportunities, but we are especially keen to talk to candidates, with relevant industry experience, for positions in the key areas of London and the Home Counties.”
The move to expand its workforce comes as Adande prepares to complete a multimillion pound investment in new research, development and testing facilities, close to its existing premises in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
The creation of the new facility is also providing additional job opportunities with the establishment of technical and engineering teams, as well as associated management, sales and administrative roles.
Adande’s new facility will provide additional resources for the evolution of its next generation of refrigerated drawer products, as well as facilitating the ongoing development of its patented Aircell air flow management system for open front, multi deck, refrigerated retail display cabinets.
