The organisers of Expowest Cornwall, which takes place in March, have promised a greater range of local, national and international exhibitors at the show than ever before.
Expowest Cornwall has been operating for more than 30 years, allowing regional hospitality businesses to see, touch and taste the latest products and get a feel for the trends shaping the market.
With around 150 exhibitors confirmed the show, products on offer will range from catering equipment and bar equipment to speciality foods and sundries supplies.
This year’s event takes place in Wadebridge from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 March and will include a new drinks feature area to celebrate a record number of drinks companies at the show.
The drinks feature areas is sponsored by LWC Drinks, Bar Equipment Direct and Cornwall College Business and will include a bar, supplied by Beaumont, where visitors can watch professional cocktail competitions, learn how to make mocktails and cocktails and enjoy wine and champagne talks and tastings.
There will also be two cocktail competitions at the show for professionals. On Tuesday 7 March they will be challenged to create a Signature Cocktail with set ingredients. And on Wednesday 8 March they will face the Market Challenge, when their creations will feature Old J Rum and ingredients collected from exhibitors.
The Cornwall Business Forum, meanwhile, will be holding a ‘Knowledge Hub’, staffed by their ‘Executive Members’ who will be able to help visitors with their wide range of skills from marketing, cyber security and website design to sales training and commercial photography.
The show traditionally attracts buyers from hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafes, supermarkets, grocers, delis, farm shops, independent stores, holiday parks and tourist attractions, schools, colleges, universities and hospitals.
