A quarter of restaurant and coffee shop chains have hitched their wagon to the landmark Pinnacle Leeds building in Leeds as the casual dining coverage at the venue takes shape.
Cosy Club, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Chilango and 200 Degrees have signed agreements in the block while three restaurant operators continue to negotiate deals for the remaining units.
The largest letting is to Cosy Club, which has agreed a 15-year lease for 7,586 sq ft (705 sq m) on the development’s first floor.
The restaurant line-up will be further enhanced by Gourmet Burger Kitchen, which has taken a 20-year lease for a 2,000 sq ft (186 sq m) unit, while Chilango has signed up for a 15-year lease on a 1,492 sq ft (139 sq m) unit.
Additionally, 200 Degrees has opened a 2,942 sq ft (273 sq m) coffee shop, for which it has agreed a new 10-year lease.
Steve Henderson, retail director at Savills Leeds, said: “The casual dining and coffee shop scene in Leeds has undergone a resurgence in recent years, with a mix of national brands taking space and new operators starting up to meet consumer demand. These four deals will further enhance the line up at Pinnacle Leeds, where retail and leisure operators continue to thrive thanks to its location on one of the busiest pedestrian routes in the city.”
The lettings were negotiated by Savills, on behalf of a private client.
