Restructuring at CAU as MD of casual dining brand steps down

Gaucho Group Tower Bridge

Graham Hall, who has served as the managing director of CAU, Gaucho Group’s casual dining brand, for the last 3½ years is departing.

It comes as part of a restructuring of the group so that both brands can continue to grow and develop successfully, according to Zeev Godik, CEO of the group. He added: “I am delighted to say that Tracey Matthews, currently MD at Gaucho, will have an immediate and expanded role as COO embracing both the Gaucho and CAU brands.”

Richard Clark, the current operations director for CAU, will succeed as the new managing director. It follows the appointment of industry legend, Luke Johnson, as non-executive chairman of the Gaucho Group earlier this year.

CAU has 18 restaurants in the UK, filling a gap in the high street for a high quality but casual dining experience which can suit any occasion and any pocket. The company regards consistency as the key to its success; serving excellent food with strong Argentine provenance; beautifully designed interiors, and the highest level of service.
