The Richoux Group has inked a three-year contract for catering equipment procurement as at least two of its brands embark on a period of expansion starting in 2015.
The chain has struck a deal with 3663 Catering Equipment covering the supply of non-food and catering equipment to 17 restaurants in the portfolio.
The Richoux Group has pledged to extend its chain of Richoux all-day brasseries and cafes and Dean’s Diners American-themed eateries in the first half of 2015.
It will call on 3663 Catering Equipment will support this growth by supplying tabletop, barware and non-food to the chain. The business will also support the two other brands owned by Richoux Group: Villagio a modern local Italian family restaurant and Zippers an American Italian bar, restaurant and grill.
The Richoux Group selected 3663 Catering Equipment after a detailed tendering process that involved analysis of the group’s non-food and catering expenditure, as well as the products they buy and requirements for bespoke tabletop concepts.
Ed Standing, managing director of Richoux Group, said: “As we look to develop the Richoux and Dean’s Diner brands, we need a supplier that we can depend on to support our growth and we have that in 3663 Catering Equipment.
“The importance of tableware shouldn’t be underestimated as part of a positive customer experience and we have worked with 3663 Catering Equipment to ensure that we have a complete range that underpins all of our brands.”
Paul Knight, director of 3663 Catering Equipment and non-food said: “Based on our experience working with growing casual dining brands and our expertise in bespoke product design we have been able to develop a unique proposition for the Richoux Group that will provide support at this exciting time of expansion.”
3663 did not disclose the exact value of the contract but said it was worth a “six-figure sum”.
