Search is on for the UK’s best new foodservice concept

The nomination deadline for the FEJ Awards closes this Wednesday – meaning there are just three more days to submit entries and recommendations for operators and suppliers blazing a trail in the industry. 

One of the categories poised to be hotly-contested is the Operator of the Year for Best New Kitchen Concept.

The UK foodservice market might be facing some well-documented challenges but nobody can argue that it isn’t one of the most vibrant in the world, with new operators, cuisines and business models springing up all the time.

Given the costs and obstacles involved with rolling out a new venture, anybody that has successfully managed this process deserves to be applauded.
