Searcys to re-launch restaurants as it seeks fresh look

UK catering company Searcys is opening its One New Change wine bar next month in the heart of London. Taking inspiration from Italian street dining and drinking, the bar will serve the largest selection of champagne cocktails in London in addition to handpicked wines and premium beers.

Dishes will be based on traditional Italian recipes which celebrate meatballs and pasta alike, with an added flute of champagne. The combination of the two blends together aim to provide a unique, simple and fuss free dining concept, perfect for quick lunches, meetings, evening drinks and dinners.

Searcys said the relaunch of the venue will be followed by other venues later this year.

The One New Change restaurant and bar interior features hues of aqua, copper and monochrome to create a welcoming, yet exclusive atmosphere with high bar stools, leather booths and individual tables for dining. Searcys wine and champagne will be on show up high amongst industrial style lighting, and slate grey walls.

The Italian-inspired menu at One New Change will focus on fresh, vibrant foods which are full of colour and flavour. A pick and mix system will operate whereby a choice of either meatballs and pasta, or meatballs and ciabatta can be made. Beef or pork meatballs will be available, with a variety of sauce, pasta and topping options.

Lighter bites and aperitivo’s will also be on offer, including: meatball sliders on a brioche bun, crab and fennel salad with Sicilian orange and castel franco lettuce, and smoked salmon ciabatta with mozzarella and artichoke.

In addition, the food offering will be available via a street food stall, as part of the daily market on the ground floor of the shopping arena for local shoppers and workers.

The drinks menu will be headed up by wine and champagne connoisseur Joel Claustre who previously won the prestigious Master of Culinary Arts (MCA) and cocktail expert Aurelien Durand. From flutes of champagne by the best industry names, to Italian Vermouth and Frizzante cocktails, the menu will offer a sparkling treat for every drinker.
