Adventys’s ground breaking Induc-Stone equipment was the star of the Grande Cuisine stand at Hotelympia.
The ‘invisible’ induction unit can be fitted underneath an existing work surface where it will heat induction friendly hot-holding equipment, such as chafing dishes, during service.
Induc-Stone works with a whole variety of different work surfaces including granite, marble, natural stone and mixed stone, turning an ordinary, ambient counter into a simple and aesthetically pleasing hot buffet section.
At the same time it does away with the need for unsightly and expensive chafing fuel tins which means that it is no longer necessary for staff to continually check to make sure that the fuel has not run out.
Induc-Stone is an example of induction technology being used for hot-holding rather than cooking. No cutting or modification of the existing worktop is required making installation both quick and simple.
“Genuinely innovative equipment tends not to come along very often so when it does it really grabs people’s attention,” says Grande Cuisine’s Steve Hobbs. “We are obviously delighted, but not surprised, at the amount of interest shown in Induc-Stone.”
