Cafe operator breaks into ‘in vogue’ frozen yoghurt market

Foodservice operator SSP has joined forces with Snog to offer a selection of frozen yogurt alongside its Millie’s Cookies store at West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton.

A ‘Snog’ is made with fat-free yogurt, sweetened with agave nectar to give it its signature refreshing taste. Each can be customised by choosing from a selection of toppings, including freshly prepared strawberries, poppy passion fruit, crunchy granola, gluten free chocolate fudge brownies and a range of different types of chocolates.

Simon Smith, CEO of SSP UK and Ireland, said that frozen yogurt is very much in vogue at the moment, and the addition of a frozen yogurt range will enable SSP to meet the demands of a culinary trend, as well as offering customers wider choice. Snog frozen yoghurt

“One of the reasons we chose to partner with Snog rather than its competitors is because we believe it really is the best yogurt and it stands out in the market. With its cheeky persona and an outstanding product range, Snog is the ideal complement to our Millie’s Cookies brand.”

Anna Ghee, CEO of Snog, added: “We’re thrilled to be launching this partnership with SSP and excited that it gives everyone in West Quay Southampton the opportunity to enjoy Snog while they shop. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with SSP.”

The brand currently operates in 10 locations in the UK, including Soho, Covent Garden, South Kensington and Westfield White City.

Snog also sells a range of frozen yogurt tubs at leading supermarkets.
