‘Theatrical’ catering equipment used by hotel chains set for UK-wide supply

Beverage system supplier JetChill is to offer Ripples Inc’s coffee printing device, Ripples, to the UK market.

The Ripple Maker, a WiFi-enabled countertop device that prints high-resolution images and messages directly on to any foam-topped drink, such as cappuccino, Nitro-brewed coffee and foam-topped cocktails, is designed to provide foodservice and hospitality businesses with a new way to engage their customers.

JetChill is set to market the countertop device to its existing customer base in the UK bar, restaurant and venue market, as part of a selective catalogue of theatrical bar and catering equipment systems.

The firm is the global supplier of JetChill, said to be the world’s first dry-ice drinks system, alongside Glass Chill and the Cyclone Tower drinks dispenser.

Ripples, which was launched across Europe in September 2017  and demonstrated at Host Milan in October as a marketing tool, has already been supplied to leading brands, including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Lavazza, Marco Polo Hotels, Shangri-La, The Four Seasons, Starwood, Twitter and IBM.
