Italian food concepts supplier, Deli Conti, and Italian catering equipment importer and supplier, Linda Lewis Kitchens, are set to showcase how solutions-driven catering products and equipment can work together to produce authentic tasting food and cut kitchen costs.
Two free courses, scheduled to run at Deli Conti’s headquarters in Nottingham in January and February, will focus on the convenience and simplicity of using frozen pizza dough balls in any busy catering environment running a menu that incorporates the highly popular choice of pizza.
Deli Conti’s Luciano Vendone will call on his 36 years’ experience as he demonstrates how to prepare perfect pizza with his business’s frozen dough balls. Vendone will then bake a series of pizzas using Cuppone Giotto ovens from Linda Lewis Kitchens. They are the first electric pizza ovens to have a revolving stone base, which enables pizza to be cooked in 2-5 minutes and turned out of the oven with a true Italian taste.
Attendees will see the Cuppone pizza press in action, as well as the Giotto. The two free courses will run on January 29 and February 26, from 10am to 12.30pm and there will be eight places on each course.
Vendone said: “We are excited about being able to show busy cooks and chefs how easy it can be to buy in ready-made frozen dough balls and then press them and cook the pizza using Cuppone equipment that is a perfect fit with our product. We can demonstrate the process from end to end, highlighting how costs can be cut in the kitchen, if the right products and equipment are in place.”
