Universal Foodservice Equipment, the UK supplier of Baron cooking equipment, has bolstered its team with the appointment of Stacey Locke as chef consultant.
Mrs Locke (pictured above with Baron Chef Alessandro Tison) will be tasked with taking customers through the benefits of the Ali Group brand’s kit and supporting users that plan on introducing it to their kitchens.
She has just completed an intense week’s training at Baron’s development kitchen at its plant in Belluno, Italy, where she got to spend time experiencing the programmable cooking products now available to the market.
New developments include three different types of combination oven, a programmable bratt pan and its sister product the ‘Talent’, which can be suited in the new Baron 900 series due for UK launch later this year, and the ‘Queen’, which will also feature programmable products within its design.
Roger Flanagan, managing director of Universal Foodservice Equipment, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stacey, who will be available to advise and demonstrate our range of electronic, programmable products at openings needing a chef’s demonstration and pre planning for customers.”
Mrs Locke added: “I have been looking for such an opportunity for some time and when Roger Flanagan at Universal proposed this position, I leapt at it. The week of training on a one-to-one with the Baron chefs has been an eye opener.”
