Smashburger, one of the fastest growing restaurant concepts in the US, is opening its fourth UK restaurant later this year in Bath City Centre.
Located in SouthGate shopping centre on Southgate Street, the restaurant will be open seven days a week, bringing a slice of New York’s trendy meatpacking district to the streets of Bath.
Spread over two floors, Smashburger will have a bold industrial look with exposed brick, hanging pendant lights and urban typography, describing the heritage story.
Smashburger prides itself on making standout burgers and claims that the secret is in the ‘smash’. Using a unique method of cooking, 100% British Red Tractor Assured beef is hand-formed into a meatball and then smashed onto a hot buttered grill, searing in all the juices and flavour.
The menu will also feature chicken breast sandwiches, an avocado and garlic grilled portobello cup vegetarian burger in addition to freshly prepared salads and irresistible sides like the garlic and rosemary Smash fries, all available to eat-in or take away.
As revealed by FEJ earlier this month, the chain is about to embark on its next big push in the UK after acquiring a slew of new sites.
