Pizza oven supplier Valoriani has upgraded its website to create a portal where customers can find everything they need to know about its equipment.
The company has overhauled the site content with a view to providing a comprehensive overview of equipment information, including AVPN Accreditation, DEFRA Licensing, individual oven specifications, frequently asked questions and recipes.
Crucially, once a user selects an oven series they are taken to a page where they can select size options and then access specific product details such as fuel consumption, heat-up times, dimensions and weight and warranty.
Visitors can also use the website to connect with the company on Facebook. Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and YouTube.
“The key driver of the new website is to inform end-users and prospective users alike of our lineage and heritage and to share our knowledge and expertise of wood-fired ovens and wood-fired cooking,” explained sales and marketing manager Mark Loynton.
“As a pioneer of the introduction of wood-fired ovens to the UK in 2002, we have many thousands of Forni Valoriani oven installations across the UK with more high profile commercial installations including Harrods, Museum of London and The River Cafe London. We have seen an ever-growing popularity of wood-fired cooking within the food offering of hospitality foodservice providers including mobile foodservice providers, the takeaway sector and at home use too.”
Valoriani is based in Preston, where it has a new showroom and demonstration kitchen for customers and prospective buyers to test out the kit.
Forni Valoriani ovens are manufactured in Florence, Italy. The family-owned company is now in the fifth generation of management.
“It is still very much an artisan manufacturer and affectionately referred to as the ‘great-great-grandfather of wood-fired ovens’,” says Loynton. “In creating the website we felt we needed to include information about the pedigree of Forni Valoriani – ‘Designed for cooking and engineered for life since 1890’ – and to include in our gallery examples of installations and some interesting recipes too.”
