Wagamama plans oodles of noodles for South Wales

Bridgend is to get its first ever Wagamama scheduled to open in February 2016.

The Japanese-inspired restaurant chain will open at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet.

Just 30 minutes from Cardiff, the shopping complex is a big draw for designer label bargain hunters as it is home to 90 designer brands, offering savings of up to 60%. There is also a nine screen Odeon multiplex cinema.

Wagamama McArthurGlen will be one of 12 restaurants and bars at the site including Ed’s Easy Diner, Costa Coffee and Frankie & Bennys.

The Bridgend outlet will be the company’s fourth south Wales branch joining Wagamama Cardiff Library and Wagamama Cardiff Mermaid Quay in the principality.

Another Wagmama site is due to open in November when Newport’s £100m Friars Walk shopping centre development opens.
