Foodservice chains looking to expand in Warwickshire could be attracted to an established restaurant leasehold that has come on the market to acquire.
‘Number 50’, which offers a range of British and international dishes using locally sourced fresh ingredients, is being presented to the market by specialist property adviser Christie + Co. Situated in the historic market town of Alcester, the popular restaurant enjoys trade from the surrounding areas including Stratford-upon-Avon, which attracts in the region of two million visitors each year.
The building itself is a two-storey detached property with a single storey extension to the rear and adjacent car parking facilities.
Gavin Wright, director at Christie + Co’s Birmingham office, who is handling the sale, said: “Our clients have built up an excellent reputation within Alcester and the surrounding areas offering classic British dishes with international influences. The restaurant can lend itself to various styles of cuisine and would be ideal for either a first time buyer or an experienced operator.”
He said Christie + Co is seeking offers in the region of £49,950 for the leasehold interest in Number 50.
