Contract caterer Wilson Vale has enjoyed a strong start to 2016 with the addition of specialist global insurer Hiscox to its portfolio of clients, further expanding its northern customer base.
A team of three Wilson Vale staff will caterer to 250 Hiscox employees on-site at the company’s new landmark building in York, providing breakfast, lunch, barista coffee and a complete hospitality service. This number is expected to rise to 500 over the next three years in line with Hiscox’s recruitment plans.

The building is Hiscox’s largest office outside of London. Located in the Hungate area of the city, it occupies nearly 50,000 sq ft over four floors and its roof terrace has stunning views of York Minster. Architecturally, the office is a striking addition to the area – featuring a cantilevered concrete frame, structural glass curtain walling and a winding staircase in a full-height atrium.
